Holy Week Services

Thursday, April 18th

Please join us for a contemporary worship service in the Parlor at 7 pm on Thursday night. We will sing, we will read the Passion Story and extinguish candles as we prepare for a time of reflection through Saturday on our way to Easter.

Sunday, April 21st

Easter Sunrise service at Camp Haiastan with Franklin United Methodist Church at 6:30 am. Camp Haiastan is located at 722 Summer Street. Please park in the upper lot and walk down, unless you have mobility challenges. We look forward to seeing you there. Dress warm and, if you’d like to participate in the dialogue sermon, bring a witness of rebirth…a word about something growing in your yard, or something you’ve witnessed over this year that spoke to you of rejuvenation and renewal.

Our traditional Sunday worship will be at 10 am, with childcare provided in the nursery. There will be kids crafts for children remaining in worship. As usual, we will have a trumpet to add a festive tone to hymns, and everyone is invited to join the Hallelujah chorus at the end of the service. Please bring cut flowers to add to the Flower Cross before the service, which we’ll carry in during the processional. Come and celebrate your Easter with us!
